Party Planning Tips! |

|
Follow
these helpful tips to ensure that your party is smooth from
start to finish... |
 |
|
Write out a party plan and schedule each activity
within the plan.
|
For young children, avoid afternoon
parties as many toddlers are used to napping during this
time.
|
Keep parties relatively short. Three hours is
the perfect length of time for a party.
|
Keep your guest list between 10 - 15 children.
Any more guests may be hard to handle.
|
If you are serving food, serve
your food first while guests are arriving followed by entertainment
and finish your party with gifts and dessert.
|
Ask a friend or family member
to assist you in supervising the children and keeping the
activities moving so you can attend to your guests.
|
It is optional to have the birthday
child open gifts at their party. Remember that this
is usually a time when guests that have to leave early,
do. By opening gifts after your guests leave, it may
be less stressful for you and your child by taking necessary
time to complete a gift log for "after party"
thank you notes.
|
Have some type of party favor
to give to each child as they leave. Goody bags and
pictures are popular party favors.
|
Make sure everyone has fun!
