Character FAQ's
- Our characters are trained to call before they enter a party – this way you can have the birthday child ready to answer the door and greet their "special" guests!
- All Mascot characters must come with a helper to assist them. Our Mascot helpers are not scary clowns they are dressed in colorful clown pants or a dress unless otherwise requested.
- Helpers enter with the mascot, and after the mascot leaves the helper will stay to twist balloons as time allows.
- If requested, mascot helpers can enter before the mascot to paint faces or for larger parties stay an additional 30 minutes to make sure each party guest is included in each activity.
- Mascot characters stay for 45 minutes of the party; they will enter with the helper or enter 15 minutes after the helper arrives.
- In summer months we only allow mascot characters to go to outside events for 30 minutes their costumes get too hot.
- We recommend having a permanent marker to write your guests names on the goody bags we provide with our character packages.
- All characters bring a magic wand for the birthday child.
- Our treasure is designed for up to 20 kids. We provide everything necessary for this activity including 200 trinket size prizes and candies and enough goody bags for everyone. Please note: we do NOT Bring bubble gum, Chocolate or Jawbreakers. We can accommodate for food allergies by upgrading to an all prize treasure hunt for $10.
- For larger parties we can provide a larger treasure hunt (so no one gets left out) for an additional $10.
- Instead of a treasure hunt your character can break a piñata we provide at $15.
- Adult interaction during the party always makes it more fun for you and your guests!
- Make sure to have your cameras/phones out to capture all of those special moments!
- If possible, have an area set aside for the show, in the summer months preferably inside.
- A good idea is to lay a large blanket down in the grass or living room for the children to sit on during face painting and magic portion of our show.
- Have a photo-op spot in mind to capture magic moments with your characters
Bouncer FAQ's
- 10% insurance fee applied on equipment at venues/parks.
- If you have a bouncer at a park make sure it is a reservable park or Summerlin park. To reserve just visit our park contacts page.
- We are approved to go to all reservable and Summerlin parks in the valley just make sure you tell them Celebrate Kids is coming.
- Wet bouncer pieces are not allowed at any public park.
- You must also rent a generator from us if you are having a Park party. Our insurance policy requires it.
- Bouncers will need a power source within 50ft and have to be the only thing plugged into that outlet.
- We stake and/or sandbag all of our bouncer pieces at delivery depending on the surface requirements.
- We can setup on almost any FLAT surface, grass, rock, dirt, concrete or asphalt. However Wet pieces can't be setup on dirt as the dirt becomes mud!
- We clean and disinfect every bouncer piece after use, so you will always be guaranteed a CLEAN bouncer.
- At large events we require attendants to watch the bounce house pieces, you can provide them or we can provide attendants for you. Volunteers are great for this job.
- If our attendants or employees notice our equipment is being used improperly – we will turn your equipment off with no refunds.
- Even private parties should have someone assigned to watch the bouncer to keep the kids safe.
- Please make sure no silly string goes around or near the bounce houses, it will ruin the material and you will be responsible for replacement costs.
- In summer months we recommend putting a damp towel on the step of our non wet bouncer pieces to keep kids from burning their feet. We also recommend having spray bottles to mist them to keep them cool.
- All weight limits are posted on the front of each piece, please take note that older children should not be bouncing with younger children where they might get hurt.
- Our bounce house prices are based on 6 hour rentals, they can be shorter if you have a shorter event or park.- We can do longer rentals with an additional charge or overnight charge.
- Each inflatable is a different size, so please note the space required for each inflatable, it is listed near each bouncer on the bounce houses tab. Some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Inflatables need room to be staked or sand bagged and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the inflatable. If you have stairs, a steep slope or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.
- There will be a $10 cleaning fee if the bouncer is placed on asphalt. Bouncers can only be placed on streets, where there is no traffic flow.
- A $10 travel fee may apply if your event is 15 miles or more from our office.
- Last pick up scheduled is 8:30 PM. Later pick up can sometimes be scheduled for an additional fee or $35 overnight fee (we pick up next morning)
- You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
- Some of our bouncers and slides are made differently and have the option of adding a water feature. There is an additional $50 charge for this feature. This fee is to cover the set up and cleaning of the water feature.
- Water pieces cannot be placed on dirt. Dirt creates mud.
- Water pieces cannot be used at public parks.
- Water slides cannot be set up to flow into an inground pool. Our insurance does not allow it. This is because it could be a safety hazard. Ex: If a guest accidentally unplugs the slide and it deflates, it could fold over and slip partially into the pool. These slides are very heavy and if this happens, a guest could get trapped under the slide, inside the pool.
- To add a water feature, we install an irrigation type hose near the top of the bouncer. The water falls down on the bounce house/slide. We bring a hose and all other supplies needed. We will just need a water spigot and power source within 50 ft.
- 4 in 1 and 5 in 1 combos: The sprinkler hose is located over the slide area, not the bouncing section. The whole bouncer will get wet from the water feature with the majority of water on the slide. There is a small amount of water that pools up at the bottom of the slide. Our 2 water combos have netting that keeps the kids shaded from the sun. For a more in depth view of the bounce houses, please use the link below to see them in 3D. http://www.celebratekidslv.com/bouncer-3d-views.html
- Backyard Slide: The children scale up the climbing wall to reach the top of this enclosed slide. The sprinkler hose is positioned above the top of the slide. They slide down to where a small amount of water pools up at the bottom. This piece also has solar netting to help keep your guests cool in the shade.
- Slide with Pool: The sprinkler is above the slide, and partially down the sides. You can decide how full you want the pool area. If you want lots of water, use a hose to fill some of the pool prior to using. If you want less water to pool up, just let the sprinkler hose run.
- Two Lane Super Slide: The water sprinkler sprays down from the top of both slides. There is a small amount of water that stays at the bottom of the slide. Participants can race down to the bottom!
- Toddler pieces: Are best for 5 and under. The sprinkler feature is less powerful.
Warm weather tips for bouncers
• Most of our bouncers have roofs for shade, but when the temperature gets to over 90 degrees they can get pretty warm. Here are some ideas to make your guests more comfortable:
• Unless you booked a “Water Piece” you cannot use a hose around your bouncer. Direct water sprayed on them can cause damage so no hoses please. But, a good idea is to have a few spray/mister bottles stacked near it. As the kids are about to get in give them a quick spray. They will love it and it really helps beat the heat.
• The inside of the bouncer is shaded, but the step into it is not, so: If possible
have your bouncer set up with the entrance on the side away from the sun.
Another great idea is to have a large towel that you can keep damp to place on the step. Just wet it every so often and it will keep your step cool.
• If your bouncer is at a home on grass, we suggest running your sprinklers for an extra cycle & then turning them off before we set up your bouncer. Sprinklers can damage bouncers so it is important that they are turned off for the duration of your rental.
